New Living Translation
[Fearing people] is [a dangerous trap], but [trusting the Lord] means [safety].

 

* 주어인 동명사구 Fearing people 사람을 무서워하기,  trusting the Lord 주님을 신뢰하기

* 보어인 명사구 a dangerous trap

New International Version
Fear of man will prove [to be a snare], but [whoever trusts in the Lord] is kept safe.

 

* 주어인 명사구 Fear /of man 명+형역전구

* 불자 보어인 부정사구 to be a snare

* 불완전 자동사로 쓰인  prove ; To be shown to be such; turn out: 그렇게 나타나다, 나오다

   예) The schedule proved to be too demanding. The theory proved impractical in practice;

* 비교 타동사 prove ; To show (oneself) to be what is specified or to have a certain characteristic ;  

                  She proved herself to be worthy of the task.

해석상 타동사로 해도 무난하지만 자동사로도 쓰이고 예문도 자동사 경우가 적당함

사람이 올무가 되는 것을 증명한다기 보다는 올무 상태로 되다/발견되다 turn out to be ; become, be discovered to be

* 주어인 의문사절 whoever trusts in the Lord  의문사=접속사=주어

* 5 형식 수동태 whoever~ is kept safe,  능동태 the Lord keeps you safe. 

* man = The human race; mankind: (성차별 문제상 현대는 people로 번역함)

The Voice
If you fear other people, you are walking /into a dangerous trap;
but if you trust in [the Eternal], you will be safe.

 

* 타동사구 TRUST IN (phrasal verb): have confidence in someone or something.

Common English Bible
People are trapped /by their fear of others; [those //who trust the Lord] are secure.

 

* 전목인 명사구 their fear of others 형+명+형/전구

* 수동태 be+pp

* 주어인 명사구 those who trust the Lord 명+형절/주격 관대절 (관계사=선행사=주어) 

 

 

영어는 표현상 다양하지만 핵심은 사람이 무서워서 눈치 보는 것은 위험한 발상이다는 것인데

주님을 경외하는 사람을 두려워한다는 건 결국 주님을 경외하는 것이 되므로 문제가 없지만

인생을 지으시고 주재하시는 분은 주님이신데 사람이 좌우한다 믿고 두려워 떤다면

주님을 반대하는 사람의 길로 가서 결국 주님의 반대편에 서서 같이 망할 운명이 되기 때문이다
