Paul Greets His Friends

1 I commend /to you [our sister Phoebe], who is a deacon in the church in Cenchrea.

 

1 I 나는 commend 천거한다 to you 너희에게 our sister 우리들의 자매인 Phoebe, 뻬비/뵈뵈를

who 그 사람 is a deacon 집사인 in the church 그 교회에서 in Cenchrea (sen'-kre-e ). 센크리/겐그레아 도시에 있는.

* commend; praise formally or officially, entrust someone or something to. 칭찬하다 의탁하다 
비교; command; To direct with authority; give orders to. 명령하다

*  Phoebe (뻬비 FEE-bee) means "bright" but is functionally only a name;

* 여성이 비하되던 그 옛날에 여성이 집사로 임명되었다는 사실은 남성 위주의 현대 사회에 충격적인 사건이다

 

2 Welcome her /in the Lord /as one //who is worthy of honor /among God’s people. 

Help her /in whatever she needs, for she has been helpful to many, and especially to me.

my co-workers 나의 동역자인 in the ministry 사역에서의 of Christ Jesus 그리스도 예수님의.

* Priscilla/prɪˈsɪlə 프리실라/브리스가 & Aquila/ækwɪlə 아킬러/아굴라 lived, worked, and traveled with the Apostle Paul,

4 In fact, they once risked their lives /for me. I am thankful to them, and so are all the Gentile churches.

He was the first person /from the province of Asia /to become a follower of Christ.

6 Give my greetings to Mary, who has worked so hard /for your benefit.

7 Greet Andronicus and Junia, my fellow Jews, who were in prison with me. 

They are highly respected among the apostles and became followers of Christ /before I did.

and became 되었었다 followers of Christ 그리스도의 제자들이 before 그전에 I 내가 did (제자) 되기 전.

* 성령님의 인도에 따른 바울의 사역에는 유대인과 이방인, 흑인, 여성과 노예도 포함되어 인류 화합이 성취되었는데

현대교계에서 인종과 나라 사이는 물론 지역과 교파 간에 불협화음을 내는 건 누가 봐도 사탄의 양자 행태가 분명하다

 

12 Give my greetings to Tryphena and Tryphosa, the Lord’s workers, 

and to dear Persis, who has worked so hard for the Lord.

17 And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. 

Watch out for people //who cause divisions and upset people’s faith 

by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them.

innocent people 순진한 사람들을.

19 But everyone knows that you are obedient to the Lord. This makes me very happy. 

I want you [to be wise in doing right and to stay innocent of any wrong].

 

19 But 그러나 everyone 모두가 knows 안다 that you 너희가 are obedient 순종적이라는 걸 to the Lord 주님께.

This 이것이 makes 만든다 me 나를 very happy 매우 기쁘게. 

I 나는 want 원한다 you 너희가 [to be wise 지혜롭고 in doing right 올바르게 행동하는데서

and to stay 있기/유지하기를 innocent 무죄 상태로 of any wrong 어떤 불법에 대해서도]. (불법에 가담하지 않기를)

 이런 장애는 인간이 신노름하는 괴물이 되지 못하도록 막아주는 하나님의 은혜임이 분명하다

 

23 Gaius says hello to you. He is my host and also serves as host to the whole church. 

Erastus, the city treasurer, sends you his greetings, and so does our brother Quartus.

 

23 Gaius/가이아스/가이오가 says 말한다 hello 안녕하세요라고 to you 당신들에게.

He 그는 is my host 나를 접대하는 집주인이고 and also 또한 serves 섬긴다 as host 모임 장소의 주인으로서

to the whole church 전체 교회에게.

[This message about Jesus Christ] has revealed his plan for you Gentiles, 

a plan /kept secret from the beginning of time.

 

25 Now 이제는 all glory 모든 영광이 to God 하나님께 있을지어다,

who 그분은 is able to make 만들 수 있다 you 너희를 strong 강하게,

just as 똑같이 my Good News 내가 전하는 복음이 says 말하는 것처럼.

 [This message 이 말씀은 about Jesus Christ 예수 그리스도에 대한] has revealed 드러내었다

[his plan 그분의 계획을 for you Gentiles 너희 이방인을 위한],

a plan 한 계획 /kept 유지된 secret 비밀로 from the beginning of time 시작의 때로부터.

so that 그래서 they 그들 too 또한 might believe 믿고 and obey 순종하도록 him 하나님을.
