1 [We //who are strong] must be considerate of those //who are sensitive about things like this. 

We must not just please ourselves.

 

1 [We 우리는 //who are strong 굳센] must be considerate 배려하는 상태라야 한다 of those 그들에 대해

//who 그들 are sensitive 예민한 about things 일에 대하여 like this 이와 같은. 

We 우린 must not just please 기쁘게 해서는 안 된다 ourselves 단지 우리 자신만.

2 We should help others [do what is right] and build them up in the Lord.

3 For even Christ didn’t live /to please himself. 

As the Scriptures say, “[The insults of those //who insult you], O God, have fallen /on me.” (시 69:9)

 

3 For 왜냐면 even Christ 그리스도께서도 조차 didn’t live 살지 않으셨기에 /to please 기쁘게 하려고 himself 그분 자신을. 

As 것처럼 the Scriptures 성경이 say 말하는, “[The insults 모욕이 of those 그들의 who insult 모욕하는 you 당신을]

, O God 오 하나님, have fallen 떨어졌습니다 on me 내 위에.”

4 Such things were written /in the Scriptures /long ago /to teach us. 

And the Scriptures give us [hope and encouragement] /as we wait /patiently /for God’s promises to be fulfilled.

 

4 Such things 그런 일들이 were written 기록되었다 in the Scriptures 성경에 long ago 오래전에

to teach us 우리를 가르치려고. 

And the Scriptures 성경은 give 준다 us 우리에게 hope 희망과 and encouragement 격려를

as 그동안 we 우리가 wait 기다리는 동안 patiently 참을성 있게 for God’s promises 하나님의 약속을 위해

to be fulfilled 성취될.

5 May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you [live in complete harmony with each other],

5 May God 하나님께서, who 그분이신 gives 주시는 this patience 이런 인내와 and encouragement 격려를,

help 도우시기를 you 너희가 live 살도록 in complete harmony 완전한 화합에서 with each other 서로 간에, 

as is fitting 적당하기에 for followers 추종자/제자들에게 of Christ Jesus 그리스도 예수님의.

6 Then all of you can join /together /with one voice, 

giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

6 Then 그러면 all of you 너희 모두가 can join 참가할 수 있다 together 같이 with one voice 한 목소리로, 

giving 드리면서 praise 찬양과 and glory 영광을 to God 하나님께, the Father 아버지이신

of our Lord Jesus Christ 우리 주 예수 그리스도의.

7 Therefore, accept each other /just as Christ has accepted you /so that God will be given glory.

just as 똑같이 Christ 그리스도께서 has accepted 수용하신 것처럼 you 너희를

so that 그래서 God 하나님께 will be given 드리게 glory 영광을.

* 거룩하신 성자 하나님이신 예수님께서 죄인을 용납하셨는데 같은 죄인끼리 용납을 못 하는 건 교만의 극치다         

8 Remember that Christ came as a servant to the Jews 

/to show that God is true /to the promises () he made to their ancestors.

 

8 Remember 기억하라 that절 내용을 즉 Christ 그리스도께서 came 오신 것 as a servant 종으로 to the Jews 유대인에게

to show 보여 주시려고 that절 내용을 즉 God 하나님께서 is true 진정이시다는 걸

to the promises 약속에 대해 (that) 그건 he 그분께서 made 만드신/하신 to their ancestors 그들의 조상들에게.                  

* 부역 부정사구; to show that God is true to the promises (that) he made to their ancestors.   부정사+명절+형절
* 명절 that God is true /to the promises //that he made /to their ancestors        
* 명사구; 전목 the promises //that he made /to their ancestors  명+형절

* 관대절은 두 단문을 하나의 복문으로 만든 경우임
1. God is true /to the promises. 2. he made the promises to their ancestors.

두 번째 문장의 목적을 관계사로 대신하여 형절을 만듦 ; 2. that he made the promises to their ancestors.

종절/형절을 이끄는 관계사는 선행사 the promises=접속사=종절 목적임을 암시함

* 하나님께서는 조석변이 인간과는 달리 전지전능하시고 신실하신 때문에 못/안 지킬 약속은 존재하지 않지만

단지 그 약속이 인간의 시간관념에 지나치게 더디게 오므로 약속파기로 오해하나 하나님의 시간대에 성취된다

9 He also came /so that the Gentiles might give glory /to God /for his mercies to them. 

That is [what the psalmist meant /when he wrote]: 

“For this, I will praise you /among the Gentiles; I will sing praises /to your name.” (시 18:49)

 

9 He 그분은 also 또한 came 오셨다

so that 그래서 the Gentiles 이방인이 might give 드리도록 glory 영광을 to God 하나님께

for his mercies 그분의 자비를 인해 to them 그들을 향한. 

 

That 그것이 is 이다 what 그것 the psalmist 시편 기자가 meant 의미했던 when 그때 he 그가 wrote 기록하였을 때: 

“For this 이 일 때문에, I 나는 will praise 찬양할 것이다 you 주님을 among the Gentiles 이방인 가운데서; 

I 나는 will sing 노래할 것이다 praises 찬양을 to your name 주님의 이름을 향해.”

 

* 의도절 접속사인 so that
* 부역 전구 /to God, /for his mercies to them,   형역 전구 to them
* 명역/보어인 의문사절 (what는 접속사와 목적 두 역할함 what the psalmist meant (목 what)
*  to your name 주님의 이름을 향해라는 말은 그 이름이 대변하는 주님 자신을 의미함  
* 하나님의 약속에 따라 성자 하나님께서 성육신 하심으로 인간의 죄인현실을 고치시며  하나님의 현실을 보이셨는데

인간의 관념/생각은 제한/한시적으로 현실화되지만 하나님의 생각은 곧 현실임을 창조는 물론 예수님께서 증명하셨다

 

10 And in another place it is written, “Rejoice with his people, you Gentiles.”

 

10 And in another place 다른 곳에서 it 그건 is written 기록되었다,

“Rejoice 기뻐하라 with his people 그분의 백성과 함께, you Gentiles 너희 이방인들아.”

 

* 호격 you Gentiles

* 유대인은 이방인을 개 취급했지만 하나님께서는 유대인이 소보다 못하다고 하셨으니 죄인 남 말하기요 

하나님께서 이방풍속을 가증히 여기셨으나 이방인도 구원하시려고 유대인의 후손으로 예수님을 보내시니

앙숙 관계인 유대인-이방인, 백인-흑인, 주인-종, 영남-호남, 여-야, 한-일, 양편이 편 갈라 싸울 명분이 없다

 

11 And yet again, “Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles. Praise him, all you people of the earth.”

 

11 And yet 여전히 again 다시금, “Praise 찬양하라 the LORD 주님을, all you 너희 모든 Gentiles 이방인들아.

Praise 찬양하라 him 그분을, all you 너희 모든 people 사람들아 of the earth 땅에 속한.”

 

* 동격의 수식관계 ; you people ; you = people

* 명사구 맨 앞에 쓰이는 한정사 all ; all you peopl (한글과는 어순이 다름 ; 너희 모든 사람들아)

* 율법도 못 받아 짐승처럼 산 이방인은 개/돼지처럼 무시당했으나 구원의 복음을 받았으니 감사와 찬송은 당연하다

 

12 And in another place Isaiah said, 

“The heir to David’s throne will come, and he will rule over the Gentiles. 

They will place their hope on him.” (사 11:10)

 

12 And in another place (성경의) 다른 곳에서 Isaiah 이사야가 said 말했다,

“The heir 후계자가 to David’s throne 다윗의 왕권에 대한 will come 올 것이다,

and he 그분은 will rule over 다스리실 것이다 the Gentiles 이방인들을. 

They 그들은 will place 둘 것이다 their hope 그들의 희망을 on him 그분에게.”

* 타동사구 rule over (sb/sth) ; To exercise absolute authority or control over someone or something.

* 유대인은 메시야가 이스라엘의 구원자로만 올 것이라 믿었지만 메시야 예수님은 만민을 구원하시려고 오셨으나

예수님께 희망/믿음을 둔 신자만이 구원을 받을 건 주어도 안 받으면 그만이고 믿되 예수님만 믿어야 구원이 된다

 

13 I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace 

/because you trust in him. Then you will overflow /with confident hope /through the power of the Holy Spirit.

 

13 I 나는 pray 기도한다 that절 내용을 즉 God 하나님께서, the source 출처이신 of hope 희망의,

will fill 채우실 것이다 you 너희를 completely 완전히 with joy 기쁨과 and peace 평강으로

 /because 왜냐면 you 너희가 trust in 신뢰했기에 him 그분을.

Then 그러면 you 너희는 will overflow 넘칠 것이다 with confident hope 자신감 있는 희망으로

through the power 능력을 통하여 of the Holy Spirit 성령 하나님의.

 

* 형역인 동격 명사구 the source of hope = God

* TRUST IN YOU has to do with your beliefs. You trust in someone as a person

when you trust that this person will do a particular thing that you asked them to do. 약속한 일을 할 거라 믿는 믿음

* 비교 TRUST YOU has to do with interpersonal relations. 대인 관계의 신뢰

* 대부분 주관적인 믿음만 논하지만 믿음의 대상에 믿는 자의 운명이 걸리기에 우상을 믿으면 우상처럼 되지만

부처는 믿어도 소용없는 건 죽어 사라진 허상/안개인 때문이나 예수님은 실상/실제이시기에 예수님처럼 된다

 

14 I am fully convinced, my dear brothers and sisters, that you are full of goodness. 

You know these things so well () you can teach [each other] [all about them].

 

14 I 나는 am fully 충분히 convinced 확신된 상태다, my dear brothers and sisters 내 귀한 형제자매여,

that절 내용에 대해 즉 you 너희가 are full of goodness 양선/선함으로 가득한 상태라는 것. 

You 너희는 know 안다 these things 이런 일들을 so well 너무나 잘 (that) 그 결과로 you 너희는 can teach 가르칠 수 있다

each other 서로에게 all about them 그것들에 관한 전부를.

15 Even so, I have been bold /enough to write about some of these points, 

knowing that [all (that) you need] is this reminder.

유대교엔 이단이요 하나님을 사칭하는 신성모독이기에 열심당의 암살대상이었으나 성령님의 도우심으로 담대했다

(성령님의 인도하심 없이 성경을 사사로이 풀어 설파하는 누구나 이단 자요 가감하는 자라 성령훼방 신성모독 자다)

 

16 For by God’s grace, I am a special messenger /from Christ Jesus /to you Gentiles. 

I bring you [the Good News]

so that I might present you /as an acceptable offering to God, made holy by the Holy Spirit.

 

16 For 왜냐면 by God’s grace 하나님의 은혜에 의해서, I 나는 am a special 특별한 messenger 전언자이기에

from Christ Jesus 그리스도 예수님께로부터 /to you Gentiles 너희 이방인에게 온.

 I 나는 bring 가져온다 you 너희에게 [the Good News 복음을]

so that 그래서 I 내가 might present 제시할 수 있게 [you 너희를] /as an acceptable offering 적절한 제물로써

to God 하나님께, made holy 거룩하게 만들어진 상태로 by the Holy Spirit 성령 하나님께 의해서.

 

* 형역전구 수식 관계 messenger /from Christ Jesus, messenger /to you Gentiles       

* 4 형식 bring you [the Good News], 

* 바울의 말이 예수님의 마음을 대변한 것이 아니고 예수님께서 성부 하나님과 연합된 성자 하나님이 아니라면

바울은 예수교 이단괴수요 예수님은 신성모독 자에 불과하기에 바울의 말만 믿고 신자가 된 사람은 이단자이나

성령 하나님께서 바울의 말이 예수님의 말씀임을 기적으로 증명하셨고 여전히 하시기에 참 증인인 제자가 된다

17 So I have reason to be enthusiastic about all () Christ Jesus has done through me in my service to God.

 

17 So 그래서 I 나는 have 가졌다 reason 이유를 to be enthusiastic 열정적인

about all 모든 것에 대하여 (that) 그건 Christ Jesus 그리스도 예수님께서 has done 하신 through me 날 통해

in my service 내가 섬기는 일에서 to God 하나님께.

18 Yet I dare not boast about anything /except what Christ has done /through me, 

bringing the Gentiles /to God /by my message and by the way () I worked among them.

 

18 Yet 그럼에도 I 나는 dare 감히 not boast 자랑하지 않는다 about anything 어떤 것에 관해서도

/except 제외하고 what 그것을 Christ 그리스도께서 has done 행하신 through me 나를 통해서, 

bringing 데려오면서 the Gentiles 이방인을 to God 하나님께 by my message 나의 전언/말에 의해

and by the way 그 방식에 의해 (that) 그건 I 내가 worked 일/사역한 among them 그들 가운데서.

19 They were convinced by the power of miraculous signs and wonders and by the power of God’s Spirit.

 In this way, I have fully presented the Good News of Christ /from Jerusalem /all the way /to Illyricum.

 

19 They 그들은 were convinced 확신되었다 by the power 힘/영향에 의해 of miraculous signs 기적적인 증표와

and wonders 경이로움과 and by the power 능력 of God’s Spirit 성령 하나님의.

 In this way 이런 방식으로, I 나는 have fully 완전하게 presented 제시했다 the Good News 복음을 of Christ 그리스도의

from Jerusalem 예루살렘에서부터 all the way 끝까지 to Illyricum 일리리쿰/일루리곤까지.

21 I have been following the plan /spoken of () in the Scriptures, 

where it says, “[Those //who have never been told about him] will see, 

and [those //who have never heard of him] will understand.” (사 52:15)

22 In fact, my visit to you has been delayed /so long 

because I have been preaching /in these places.

23 But now I have finished [my work /in these regions], 

and after all these long years of waiting, I am eager to visit you.

* 요구가 아닌 허락 의미인 can을 쓴 것으로 보아 로마 신자들이 바울을 지원할 것을 이미 표명했다고 보임

 

25 But before I come, I must go to Jerusalem /to take a gift to the believers there.

하나님의 사랑은 사람의 사랑인 정/애정/인정/우정과는 본질적으로 다른 아가페/인류애이기에

사람의 노력으로나 천성/본성적으로 나올 수 없고 성령 하나님께서 주셔야 것을 우리가 받아서

다시 하나님께나 사람에게 줄 수 있다는 것을 이 구절이 잘 설명하므로 먼저 받아야 줄 수 있다

 

31 Pray that I will be rescued /from those in Judea //who refuse to obey God. 

Pray also that [the believers there] will be willing to accept the donation () I am taking to Jerusalem.

바울이 자기 동족이지만 하나님을 불순종하기에 바울을 죽이려 하는 유대인들로부터 구원해 주시기를

하나님께 기도해 달라는 요청은 동족조차도 하나님을 불신하면 원수지간이 된다는 현실을 잘 보여주며

비록 어려운 가운데서도 헌납한 헌물이지만 어떤 이유에서든지 예루살렘 신자들이 받기를 거부한다면

받친 사람들의 성의가 무시될 것이므로 그런 현실적인 문제를 놓고 기도해 달라는 겸허한 모습을 보며

우리도 좋은 일이니 잘 될 것이라고 낙관하는 대신에 잘 되도록 하나님께 기도하는 자세가 필요하다 봄

32 Then, by the will of God, I will be able to come /to you /with a joyful heart,

 and we will be an encouragement /to each other.

his peace 예수님의 평강은 육신 세상의 그것과는 본질적으로 다른 영적인 평강/평화와 참 안식이기에

평화를 찾아 바다나 산이나 들로 가서 수련을 하며 찾을 필요도 없이 어디서나 하나님께 평강을 구하면

스트레스가 가득한 지하철이나 직장 내에서도 하나님의 평강을 맛볼 수 있음을 바울은 현실로 증명했고

그런 평강 때문에 난파선 안에서 바울이 침착하여 사람들을 위로하며 구원의 길로 인도할 수 있었다 봄

내가 너희에게 주는 것은 세상이 주는 것과 같지 아니하니라
