I was glad /when they said /to me,
“Let [us] [go to the house of the Lord].”

* Let's is a contraction of let us, use it to make suggestions about what you and someone else should do.

* 간접화법 they said that we should all go to the house of the Lord.

standing inside your gates, O Jerusalem.

점술가들과 음행하는 자들과 살인자들과 우상 숭배자들과 및 거짓말을 좋아하며 지어내는 자는 다 성 밖에 있으리라

(음행 하는/지어내는, 즉 현재형이므로 과거에 했다가 주님을 믿고 회개한 신자들은 포함되지 않으나

 불의한 자 곧 죄인은 하나님 기준으로 볼 때 모두 음행/우상숭배/ 거짓말하는 자요 증오자인 살인자다.)

* 진행형 be+v-ing ;  are standing

* 진행 동사는 현재동사로 고칠 수 있음 ; we stand /inside your gates.

* 비교 ; 진행에서 파생된 것이 아닌 완전 형용사인 현분사의 경우는 안 됨 ; it is interesting => it interest. (X)

Jerusalem is a well-built city;
its seamless walls cannot be breached.

* you = Jerusalem (의인화)

All the tribes of Israel—the Lord’s people—
make their pilgrimage /here.
They come /to give thanks to the name of the Lord,
as the law requires [of Israel].

* 예루살렘이 잘못되기를 바라고 예루살렘 거민을 바다로 쓸어 넣으려 시도하는 자들이 잘 될 수 없게 하는 기도다

and prosperity in your palaces.

* 육적 혈연으로 보면 이방족들의 친구/친척들이 예루살렘에 없지만 예수님의 피를 나눈 영적 가족은 있는데

예수님께서 우리를 형제라 부르시기를 부끄러워하지 않으시는데 (히 2:11) 우리는 한다면 가족이 아닌 것이

예수님께서 기다 하신 것을 우리가 아니다 하면 우리는 예수님을 거짓말쟁이로 모는 찐 사기꾼인 우리가 되고

유대인들 이외에도 전 세계 다른 민족인 기독인들을 가족이라 안하면 우리도 가족이 안도는 반전이다

 

9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek [what is best for you], O Jerusalem.

 

9 For the sake of 위하여 the house 성전을 of the Lord 주님 our 우리 God 하나님,
I 나는 will seek 추구할 것이다 [what 그것을 is best 최선인 for you 너를 위한], O Jerusalem 오 예루살렘이여.

 

* seek의 목적인 의문사절, [what] is best for you ; (의문사=접속사=주어)

9 And because of the house of the Lord our God,
I will work /for your good.
