The Lord Will Protect His People 주님께서 그분의 백성들을 보호하실 것이다

does [my help] come /from there?

—does [my 저의 help 도움이] come 옵니까 /from there 거기로부터?

 

* 예루살렘이 위치한 시온산으로 올라가는 순례자들이 산을 바라보면서 하는 노래인데

지리적인 그 성산에서 도움이 오는 것이 아니고 하나님께로부터 온다는 의미의 질문이라 함

* 참조 ; It is not from the mountains of Zion, 

but from Jehovah Who has fixed His earthly dwelling-place there that help comes.

1 I look /to the hills!
Where will I find help?

 

1 I 저는 look 쳐다봅니다 /to the hills 그 언덕을!
Where 어디서 will I 나는 find  발견할 것인가 help 도움을?

 

* hill 동산은 mountain 산 보다 작지만 구별 없이 쓰이기도 함

*  HILL ; a usually rounded natural elevation of land lower than a mountain.

* Hills are easier to climb than mountains. They are less steep and not as high.

But, like a mountain, a hill will usually have an obvious summit, which is its highest point.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, there is no official difference between hills and mountains.

My help comes /from the Lord,
who made [heaven and earth]!

who 그분 made 만드신 [heaven 하늘과 and earth 땅을]!

 

* heaven. 1. the expanse of space that seems to be over the earth like a dome : firmament 하늘

2 It will come /from the Lord,
who created [heaven and earth].

대부분의 사람들은 잠 잘 때 누가 심장을 뛰게 하고 허파를 움직여 숨을 쉬게 해 줄지 걱정하지 않지만

사실은 하나님께서 도우시니 우리가 편안히 잠 잘 수 있고 깨어 있을 동안에도 걱정 없이 살 수 있다

5 The Lord is your protector,

* 이스라엘 백성이 광야를 지날 때 구름으로 차광하셔서 작열하는 태양으로부터 보호하셨고

  기온이 급강하하는 광야의 밤에는 불기둥으로 밝히시며 따듯하게 지키셨다

* 차광하다: 햇빛이나 불빛이 밖으로 새거나 들어오지 않도록 가리개로 막아 가리다

The sun will not harm you /by day,
nor the moon at night.

The sun 태양은 will not harm 해롭게 하지 않을 것이다 you 너희를 by day 낮 동안,
nor the moon 달도 못한다 at night 밤에.

 

* In the period of; during: sleeping by day.

* nor ; And not; or not; not either:

* nor the moon ( will harm ) at night. = or the moon ( will not harm ) at night.

* 달이 해롭게 한다기 보다는 차가운 밤 기온이 해롭게 하는 의미라 함

6 You won't be harmed /by the sun /during the day or by the moon at night.

The Lord keeps [watch] /over you /as you come and go,
both now and forever.
