O Lord, don’t rebuke me /in your anger
or discipline me /in your rage.

O Lord 오 주님, don’t rebuke 질책하지 마옵소서 me 저를 /in your anger 화내신 상태에서
or discipline 징계하지 마옵소서 me 저를 /in your rage 격노하신 상태에서.

 

* 주님께서 화나셨을 때 징계하지 마시기를 기도해야 좀 덜 혼날 것은

누구나 화났을 때 징계를 하고 화났기에 더 무섭게 할 것이 분명한 때문인데

우리가 이렇게 기도한다면 다른 이들에게 화내면서 질책할 것을 우리도 절제/자제할 수 있어야 한다

1 Don't punish me, Lord, or even correct me
when you are angry!

1 Don't punish 처벌하지 마옵소서 me 저를, Lord 주님, or even correct 정정조차 마옵소서 me 저를
when 그때 you 당신께서 are angry 화 나셨을 때!

 

* Ps 38.1 O LORD, do not continue to rebuke me in your anger.

Have compassion /on me, Lord, for I am weak.
Heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.

Have 가지십시요 compassion 연민을 on me 저에게, Lord 주님, for 왜냐면 I 저는 am weak 연약하기 때문입니다.
Heal 치유하십시요 me 저를, Lord 주님, for 왜냐면 my bones 저의 뼈가/뼛속 깊이 are in agony 고통하고 있습니다.

2 Have pity /on me and heal [my feeble body].
My bones tremble /with fear,

I am sick at heart.
How long, O Lord, until you restore me?

How long will it be?

Return, O Lord, and rescue me.
Save me /because of your unfailing love.

Return 돌아 오셔서, O Lord 오 주님, and rescue 구조해 주십시요 me 저를.

For the dead do not remember you.
Who can praise you /from the grave?

For 왜냐면 the dead 죽은 자들은 do not remember 기억하지 못하기 때문입니다 you 당신을.
Who 누가 can praise 찬양할 수 있습니까 you 당신을 /from the grave 무덤에서?

 

* 관사+형용사=명사  the dead =  the one/people who is/are dead

* 6:5 Hebrew from Sheol?

*  "Sheol" refers to the grave or the realm of the dead. Old Testament believers did not have as clear a picture of life 

beyond the grave as do New Testament believers.

 David was thinking that dead bodies cannot remember the Lord and praise Him. 

* NIV: Among the dead no one proclaims your name. Who praises you from the grave?

하나님께 대하여 죽은 자들이 예수님의 이름을 구원주로 선포할 리 만무라 죽음이 코 앞에 닥친 상황에서도

예수님 이름으로 기도하지도 못하기에 죽은 후 무덤 속에서 할 리도 만무이겠으나

하나님께 대하여 산 신자들은 예수님 이름을 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주요 구원의 주로 믿고 선포하기에 기도할 수 있으므로

아직 살아 있을 때 생명의 주 예수님의 이름을 내 입술로 선포하여 인정하고 존경과 찬사로 불러야 살고 죽어도 다시 산다

I am worn out /from sobbing.
All night I flood [my bed] /with weeping,
drenching it /with my tears.

   미안해요 정도로는 진정성이 보여지지 않기 때문이다 봄

and my sight has failed because of my enemies.

* 원수 마귀들은 죄진 신자들에게 온갖 공갈협박과 거짓말로 하나님을 가려서 참 사랑과 자비와 은혜를 감추므로

  신자의 시야가 가리워져서 진실을 볼 수 없게 만들므로 더욱더 죄악에 뻐지게 만드는 걸 알아야 빠져나올 수 있다

Go away, all you //who do evil,
for the Lord has heard my weeping.

 

Go away 떠나가라, all you 너희 모두들 //who do 행하는 evil 악을,
for 왜냐면 the Lord 주님께서 has heard 들으셨기 때문이다 my weeping 나의 울음을.

 

* GO AWAY (phrasal verb): move away from person or place; stop existing or being noticeable.

* Mt 7.23; 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.'

* Lk 13.27. I don't know you or where you come from. Get away from me, all you who do evil.'

* 다른 사람도 아닌 구원주께서 '나는 너를 모르니 나를 떠나가라' 하신다면 구원을 포기하신 심각한 저주가 되는데

많은 신자들이 예수님을 안다고 하지만 자기들 관점/시각에서 뵈는 한 상대적 평가의 한 대상을 안다는 것이지

주님의 절대적인 관점/시각의 한 대상인 '나 자신'은 모르고도 안다 한다면 You don't know you don't know it.

마지막 날 직대면의 현장에서 알았다 했는데 전혀 몰랐다는 처참한 현실/사실을 발견하고 경악할 수 있다

8 You, Lord, heard my crying,

and those hateful people had better leave me /alone.

8 You 당신께서, Lord 주님, heard 들으셨습니다 my crying 나의 울음을,
and those 그들 hateful 증오 가득한 people 사람들은 had better leave 떠나는 것이 좋을 것이다 me 나를 /alone 홀로 놔두고.

 

* Had better is a strong expression. 하지 않으면 나쁜 결과가 임할 것이다는 강한 표현

We use it if we think there will be negative results if someone does not do what is desired or suggested:

The Lord has heard my plea;
the Lord will answer my prayer.
